How to exhibit products and register a company on a small budget
If you are just starting out in business then exhibiting at international trade shows may be the furthest thing from your mind. For new companies that want to make an impact though, especially those selling to other firms, it is a good idea to try and have a stand at exhibitions that take place in your own country. If you do not mind getting your hands dirty then it need not be prohibitively expensive either. As part of presenting the right image it is a good idea to incorporate your firm, especially if you plan on doing business across the country.
People tend to take registered businesses more seriously and if you have a look online you will see that it is possible to register a company quite easily. How easy it is to organise your own exhibition stand will depend on a number of factors. People with graphic design experience will obviously have a big advantage as they will be able to take care of the visual side of things without having to hire a professional. Transportation is another issue as you may need to hire a truck to get to remote locations. Wherever you are located in Australia it is possible to use the local business name registration process instead of incorporating but, whilst this may save money in the short term, if you need to repeat the process in all areas of the country then it will end up costing a lot more in time and money.
